Qualifications

  • Must hold a valid RN or LPN license for the state of Ohio.

Job description

Salary:

$25 - $32 / per hour

Position:

Maxim Healthcare in Hebron is hiring for a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to work with pediatric patients in their own homes in the Caldwell, OH area. This is a Wednesday-Saturday night shift position with a pediatric client.

Responsibilities:
  • Utilizes the nursing process to plan, implement, and evaluate patient/client care and/or services provided to clients receiving contracted services, as required
  • Initiates the plan of care when directed and requests revisions from the prescriber as patient needs change
  • Incorporates therapeutic, preventive, and rehabilitative nursing actions based on patient diagnosis and goals
  • Responds to changes in patient/client condition and reports to the physician or supervisor
  • Administers medications and treatments as prescribed, monitoring and documenting effectiveness
  • Reviews care plans and identifies areas for education, care coordination, and discharge planning
Requirements:
  • Current RN or LPN license for the practicing state
  • Current Health Certificate (per facility or state regulation)
  • Current PPD or Chest X-Ray
  • Current BLS card
  • One year prior RN or LPN experience preferred
