Salary: $25 - $30 / per hour

Maxim Healthcare is looking for a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to assume responsibility and accountability for the application of the nursing process and the delivery of patient care in home settings, under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN). The LPN will perform according to nursing standards, managing patient care and assisting others in patient care management.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• Performs focused interviews to identify specific patient needs.
• Assesses signs and symptoms indicating physiological and psychosocial changes in the patient’s condition.
• Collects, analyzes, and interprets data from healthcare team members and documents nursing diagnoses.
• Performs other LPN duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Current LPN license in the practicing state.
• Current health certificate (per facility requirements).
• Current PPD or Chest X-Ray.
• Current BLS certification.
• One year of prior LPN experience preferred.
