Position Location

SWWC Service Cooperative with placement at the ELC – Windom.

Major Responsibilities and Duties

Under the direction of the Site Administrator and School Nurse, the LPN/Health Paraprofessional is responsible for providing skilled nursing services, delegated nursing treatments, health education, evaluation, health screening services, medication administration, and the maintenance of health records within the building of assignment and in accordance with agency policies and procedures.

Education/Qualifications

Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license with a degree in Nursing; minimum of 2 years nursing experience and working with students with multiple handicaps preferred. Current CPR and First Aid Certification required. Valid driver's license required.

High school diploma or GED required; Proof of Professional Care Assistant (PCA) certification; Previous experience with medication administration and providing healthcare assistance preferred. CPA certification and a valid driver's license required.

Salary

This is a full-time position for the 2026-27 school year. Beginning at $27.00/hour and up - dependent on education, qualifications, and experience.
