Job summary

Brookdale in Shreveport, LA is hiring for a licensed practical nurse (LPN) / licensed vocational nurse (LVN) to support residents with personalized care plans. You will monitor residents, administer medications under physician orders, and ensure a clean, secure medication supply room in accordance with policies.

You will follow treatment plans, document responses, and work within a team that emphasizes dignity, safety, and compassionate care.

Qualifications

• Active LPN or LVN license in the state of Louisiana.
• Experience in long-term care is preferred.
• Ability to follow treatment plans and document care accurately.

Responsibilities

• Assist in maintaining a physical, social and psychological environment in the best interest of residents.
• Monitor care of residents according to treatment plans prescribed by a physician and document responses.
• Nurses administer medications, ensure cleanliness and security of the medicine supply room and adhere to company procedures.
• LPN or LVN License Required per state regulations.
