Job summary

Better Community Living in the Greater New Bedford Area seeks an Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide direct nursing care in a group home setting. You will ensure safe medication administration, monitor health conditions, and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to promote health and quality of life for residents with developmental and/or physical disabilities.

The role requires strong clinical judgment, effective communication, and the ability to support staff per DDS and MAP

Qualifications

• Active LPN license in Massachusetts is required.
• Current CPR/BLS certification is required.
• Strong assessment, communication, and organizational skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care per care plans.
• Monitor residents' health status and report changes.
• Administer medications per physician orders and MAP guidelines.
• Coordinate with physicians, pharmacies, and therapy teams.
• Support and educate direct care staff on health needs.
