Overview:

Are you seeking a flexible, incentivized Licensed Practical Nurse position? You can choose to work day or night shifts—whatever suits you best! There are no weekend, holiday, or shift requirements. Participation in the Gig Nursing Program requires you to be responsible for scheduling a minimum number of hours, be available on short notice, flexible, and subject to last-minute shift cancellations. The program does not guarantee shift hours and may be canceled at short notice.

The Licensed Practical Nurse - GIG will float between designated Mercy Hospital facilities of their choice.

Qualifications:

• Required Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Licensure: Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program; consideration will be given for comparable education and successful licensure. You are responsible for obtaining and maintaining a current LPN license in the state where nursing duties are performed, meeting all State Board of Nursing requirements.
• Experience: One year of recent bedside LPN experience for Med Surg. For other specialties (ED, ICU, etc.), a minimum of two years of recent bedside LPN experience is required.
