Overview

Are you seeking a flexible, incentivized Licensed Practical Nurse position? You can choose to work day or night shifts based on your preference. There are no weekend, holiday, or shift requirements. Participation in the Gig Nursing Program requires being responsible for scheduling a minimum number of hours, being available on short notice, and being flexible, with the understanding that shifts may be canceled last minute. The program does not guarantee shift hours and shifts are subject to cancellation.

Departments Utilizing GIG LPNs:

• Med Surg
• Adult Psych
• Rehab
• ICU/ICU Stepdown
• ED
• L&D

Qualifications:

• Required Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Licensure: Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program. Must obtain and maintain a current LPN license in the state of employment, meeting all State Board of Nursing requirements.
• Experience:
  • Epic experience preferred.
  • At least one year of recent bedside LPN experience for Med Surg.
  • Minimum of two years of recent bedside RN experience for ICU & ED specialties.
• Certifications:
  • Med Surg: BLS
  • Critical Care: BLS, ACLS
  • Emergency Department: BLS, ACLS, PALS
  • IV certification required
• Physical Requirements: Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, lift, and turn patients with assistance; push/pull/grip up to 50 pounds.
