Job summary

Health Wealth Safe, Inc. is seeking an experienced LPN to provide high-quality resident care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse in a geriatric setting.

You will assist nursing staff, monitor patient conditions, and participate in care planning and documentation to ensure optimal outcomes. The ideal candidate holds an NC LPN license, CPR certification, and a solid understanding of infection control.

Qualifications

• Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) licensed in North Carolina.
• CPR certification with annual renewal.
• Knowledge of nursing practices, infection control and patient safety.
• Ability to operate nursing equipment and work under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Assist nursing personnel and ensure optimal patient care during assigned hours.
• Delegate duties to non-licensed staff and monitor performance.
• Participate in quality assurance activities and infection control protocols.
• Assist with resident assessments, admissions, and documentation.
• Monitor skin integrity and implement care plans for decubiti prevention.
• Perform lab procedures, review results, and notify physicians.
• Respond to emergencies, including CPR and notifying physicians of changes in patient condition.
• Coordinate healthcare team activities and ensure policy compliance.
• Participate in meetings and continuous training.
