Job summary

Elim Wellspring Assisted Living, a Cassia community, is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our compassionate team. This part-time role offers a supportive nonprofit environment with strong benefits and opportunities for tuition assistance to advance from LPN to RN.

The LPN will administer medications, develop care plans, and collaborate with a dedicated team to enhance the lives of older adults in our community. Minnesota license required.

Qualifications

• Current Minnesota LPN license in good standing.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and solve problems effectively.
• Passion for providing quality nursing care to older adults.

Responsibilities

• Develops, implements, and evaluates resident care plans.
• Recognizes and manages common geriatric conditions.
• Supervises TMAs and Nursing Aides.
• Maintains respectful, professional interactions with residents, families, and staff.
• Administers and monitors medications and treatments per physician orders.
• Manages medication and supply inventory according to policy.
• Documents care using electronic charting systems.
• Communicates significant changes in resident condition to appropriate parties.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
