Rockville Center is seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team in a Skilled Nursing facility. The ideal candidate will hold a NY license and be capable of independent evaluation and treatment, including therapeutic activities for residents.

The position emphasizes geriatric care, with responsibilities spanning medication administration, vital signs, patient education, and collaboration with physicians, NPs, families, and CNAs.

Competenze

• Current LPN license in NY is required.
• Experience in geriatric care preferred.
• Ability to evaluate and treat independently.
• Effective communication with physicians, NPs, families and staff.

Mansioni

• Provide care for SNF and Long Term Care residents.
• Medication administration, including IVs.
• Taking and recording vital signs.
• Providing resident and family education.
• Communication with physicians, NPs, families and other health care professionals.
• Supervising CNAs.
