Job summary

Pioneer Human Services in Washington is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide high-quality health care services for behavioral health clients within the Residential Services Division. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to assess needs, implement treatment plans, and maintain clear communication with colleagues.

Starting pay ranges between $27.45 and $34.31 hourly, with a comprehensive benefits package and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

  • Must be a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in Washington and have a current Washington State LPN license in good standing.
  • 1-year experience working in a care setting.
  • Must have a working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Provide quality health care services to all clients including managing somatic conditions and medical needs.
  • Communicate with team members to determine appropriate treatment protocol and course.
  • Support the Residential Services Division by performing clinical tasks for behavioral health clients.

Compensation:
New hires for this position typically start between $27.45 and $34.31 hourly, depending on factors such as work location, experience, qualifications, skills, competencies, internal equity, and market conditions. While the full pay range is provided to support pay transparency, individual compensation will vary within the range based on these factors.

What you’ll do

The LPN is responsible for providing quality health care services to all clients including managing somatic conditions, medical needs, communicating with team members to determine appropriate treatment protocol and course, and creating a favorable group climate for the effective treatment of each enrolled client.

This position supports the Residential Services Division of Pioneer Human Services by performing clinical tasks to support the provision of quality and cost-effective medical services to behavioral health clients.

What you’ll bring (required qualifications):

  • Must be a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in Washington and have a current Washington State LPN license in good standing.
  • 1-year experience working in a care setting.
  • Must have a working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Preferably you’ll bring (preferred/desirable qualifications):

  • Experience with electronic charting.
  • Experience working with mental health & chemical dependency clients.
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
  • Knowledge of local resources and services for individuals who are homeless or low-income and those experiences chronic behavioral health challenges or having histories of involvement in legal system(s)
