Job summary

Centurion Health is seeking a full-time Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for day shifts at the Idaho State Correctional Institution in Kuna, Idaho. The LPN will work under RNs and medical staff to address physical and mental health needs of incarcerated patients.

Responsibilities include administering medications, monitoring vital signs, documenting care, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams. Competitive benefits are offered for full-time employees.

Qualifications

• Idaho LPN license or ability to obtain one.
• Active CPR certification.
• Ability to obtain a security clearance, including drug screen and criminal background check.
• Corrections experience not required.

The LPN is responsible for providing holistic nursing care within the appropriate scope of practice to incarcerated patients in the Reception Diagnostic Unit. Licensed Practical Nurses work under the direction of Registered Nurses, medical, and psychiatric staff to respond to a range of physical and mental health needs.
