Job summary

My Health Onsite is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse to join our Coral Springs team in a full-time role. You will support patient care, escort patients to exam rooms, and help prepare for radiology procedures while following safety and regulatory guidelines.

Key duties include taking and recording vital signs, performing blood draws and injections, maintaining clean, stocked treatment rooms, documenting in EMR, and assisting physicians and staff to deliver patient-centered care while

Qualifications

• Active Florida LPN license or license equivalent.
• Minimum of 1 year of recent clinical experience in primary or urgent care settings.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Welcome patients and escort to exam rooms.
• Prepare patients for radiology procedures and ensure safety protocols.
• Obtain and record vital signs (BP, HR, etc.).
• Provide information and assistance to patients.
• Perform blood draws and injections; input data into EMR.
• Prepare treatment rooms; keep them clean and stocked.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and ensure secure care documentation.
• Assist physicians and medical staff during procedures and treatments.
• Complete and document daily equipment checks and calibration.

Essential Responsibilities:

• Welcome patients and escort to exam room
• Prepare patients for radiology procedures and follow established clinical and regulatory procedures in regard to patient safety and care; including proper radiation protection and shielding techniques
• Obtain and record vital signs (BP, heart rate, pulse oximetry, height, weight, waist circumference)
• Provide information and assistance to patients
• Perform blood draws, administer injections/vaccinations, and input medical information into EMR
• Prepare treatment rooms for patient examinations; keep rooms neat, clean and well stocked
• Maintain patient confidence and ensure confidentiality of patient care information
• Assist the physician and medical staff with procedures and treatments
• Complete and document daily equipment checks and calibration

Minimum Qualifications

• Clear and Active license in the state of Florida
• One year of recent clinical experience, preferably in primary or urgent care setting
• BLS

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

• Proficient knowledge of computer systems including electronic medical record (EMR)
• Proficiency with blood draws and injections
• Ability to effectively communicate with staff and patients using excellent written and verbal skills
• Friendly personality and ability to work well as a team member
