A Brief Overview

Assist the Registered Nurse in patient care, model appropriate behavior, and contribute to a positive care environment.

What you will do

• Contribute to nursing assessments by collecting, reporting, and recording data.
• Provide direct, safe patient care.
• Continuously evaluate the plan of care.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and health team members.
• Participate in activities to improve healthcare delivery.

Education/Formal Training Requirements

• Technical Degree or Diploma in Nursing - LPN

Work Experience Requirements

• No prior work experience required

Licenses and Certifications

• BASIC LIFE SUPPORT - American Heart Association
• Licensed Practical Nurse - Arkansas, Mississippi, Tennessee (as applicable)

Supervision Provided

• No supervisory or lead responsibilities assigned.

Physical Demands

• Activities include climbing, standing, walking, reaching, grasping, kneeling, stooping, and repetitive motions.
• Must have good balance and coordination.
• Physical exertion up to 50 lbs. occasionally and 25 lbs. frequently.
• Requires close visual acuity, including color and depth perception.
• Frequent contact with patients and exposure to body fluids and hazardous materials.
• Ability to react quickly in emergencies.
