Position Details
- Type: Full-Time
- Shift: To discuss during interview
- Wage: $25-$28/hr DOE
- Location: Avamere Wenatchee, 1550 Cherry Street, Wenatchee, WA 98801
Responsibilities
- Complete required record keeping regarding admission, transfer, and discharge of residents.
- Coordinate with nursing staff and support personnel to plan shifts’ services, programs, and activities, ensuring residents' care is maintained.
- Prepare and administer medications; review medication cards for accuracy.
- Review resident care plans for appropriate goals, problems, and revisions based on nursing needs.
- Develop, implement, and interpret programs, policies, and procedures for quality care.
- Provide leadership to nursing staff; make daily rounds to ensure care compliance with resident plans and wishes.
- Build rapport with staff, residents, families, and other involved parties.
- Participate in facility surveys by authorized government agencies.
Qualifications
- Degree in nursing from an accredited institution.
- Current, active LPN license in this state.
- Knowledge of nursing practices, laws, and regulations related to nursing homes.
- Ability to chart accurately and comprehensively.
- Experience with Electronic Medical Records and documentation systems.
