Baptist Health - Central Alabama is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse for the Med/Surg unit in Montgomery, AL. This full-time role provides direct patient care under the supervision of an RN, following the Nursing Care Plan and hospital policies.

You will administer medications, monitor patient conditions, and support patient health screenings in Employee Health as needed. Excellent teamwork, communication, and reliability are essential in delivering high-quality care.

Summary

The LPN shall be responsible for direct, individualized, goal-directed, and effective patient care under the supervision of the RN. This individual shall provide care as outlined in the Nursing Care Plan in accordance with Standards of Practice, policies, and procedures. The LPN will be responsible for administration of medications, report patient symptoms and conditions to the RN. For the LPN within Employee Health, the individual will be responsible for new hire and annual health screenings under the direct supervision of the RN. This position may have additional duties assigned that are within scope of the role.

Education / Experience

High school diploma or equivalent required.

License / Certification

Active LPN license required, BLS required, Additional certifications (ACLS, PALS, NRP, etc) may be required based upon department assigned
