Job summary

First Day Homecare in the Jacksonville area is seeking compassionate Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) to join our pediatric home health team. The role offers 1:1 patient care in the child’s home, with support from clinical leadership and flexible scheduling.

You will provide dedicated care, manage routine and complex tasks (including potential G-tube, ventilator, seizure and respiratory support), administer medications, monitor vitals, and educate families to keep care consistent between visits.

Qualifications

• Active RN or LPN license required.
• Pediatric home health experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1-on-1 medical care tailored to pediatric needs.
• Manage complex interventions (e.g., G-tube feedings, tracheostomy/ventilator care, seizure management, respiratory treatments).
• Administer medications and monitor vital signs.
• Educate families and empower them to participate in ongoing care.

When you take on a pediatric case, you become a lifeline for a child and their family, providing high-level care in the comfort of their own home. Your day-to-day will typically include:

• Providing dedicated, 1-on-1 medical care tailored to the child's specific developmental and clinical needs.
• Managing complex medical interventions, which may include G-tube feedings, tracheostomy/ventilator care, seizure management, and respiratory treatments.
