Job summary

Boundary Waters Care Center is seeking licensed practical nurses (LPN) to provide compassionate, high-quality care to residents in a supportive team. Full and part-time positions available with a $5,000 sign-on bonus and competitive hourly pay.

You will administer medications, perform treatments, and participate in care planning alongside CNAs and the interdisciplinary team. Ideal candidates are committed to clinical excellence, infection control, and a respectful, patient-centered approach,

Qualifications

• Active LPN license in the state of employment required.
• CPR certification required (or willingness to obtain upon hire).
• Experience in skilled nursing or senior living preferred, but not required.
• Strong assessment, documentation, and communication skills.
• Ability to stay organized and calm under pressure while leading others.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care in accordance with resident care plans and physician orders.
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and on time.
• Monitor resident conditions and intervene to ensure health and safety.
• Support CNAs and other staff to ensure quality care.
• Lead care planning, resident assessments, and quality improvement initiatives.
• Mentor new staff and collaborate with families and departments.
