Job summary

Qualifications

• Must graduate from an accredited Practical Nursing program.
• Active Florida license as an LPN is required.
• For MA track: high school diploma or GED, MA program completion or 1 year MA experience.
• MA Certification must be obtained within 90 days of employment.
• Current BLS certification or to be completed within first 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Identifies and evaluates patient needs via telephone triage.
• Administers medications including injections and documents them.
• Identifies education needs and provides instruction.
• Recognizes and responds to emergencies as appropriate.
• Documents patient information per Clinical Services policies.
• Facilitates patient flow to maintain office efficiency.
• Assists the physician with office procedures.
• Maintains the integrity of the office.
