Job summary

Kaiser Permanente in Colorado seeks a licensed Practical Nurse for the Float Pool Urgent Care. You will support physicians, room patients, and ensure safe medication administration across sites, including Lone Tree, Aurora Centerpoint, Rock Creek, and Lakewood.

This role requires an LPN license in Colorado, BLS certification, IV therapy experience preferred, and a patient-centered focus with strong teamwork and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited Practical Nursing program and Colorado LPN license.
• Minimum of 400 clock hours of faculty planned clinical experience with direct supervision.

Responsibilities

• Adheres to Kaiser Permanente quality, safety and emergency policies.
• Maintains patient safety in medication handling and 5 rights/3 checks of meds.
• Assists physicians and other providers, rooms patients, and communicates delays.
• Performs nursing procedures per physician orders and approved care plan.
• Records patient data in medical charts and prepares reports as required.
