The Hudson Valley Float Pool is seeking a Float Pool LPN to join our team in the Beacon area. This role covers multiple shifts with opportunities across three facilities, delivering high-quality nursing care and medication administration to residents.

You will work three days a week with a shift from 3pm to 7am, and you may travel locally between Beacon, Hopewell, and Ulster locations. We value compassionate, team-oriented nurses who excel in a fast-paced setting and are CPR certified and

Float Pool LPN

Rate: $37.00/hour plus $1.75 shift difference from 3p-7a.

Hiring All Shifts: 3 days a week
Join our LPN Float pool. In this role, you'll provide high-quality nursing care, administer medications and treatments, and help ensure the safety, comfort, and well-being of residents. RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Provide nursing care in accordance with resident assessments, care plans, and facility policies
• Administer medications, treatments, enteral feedings, and IV therapies within the LPN scope of practice
• Monitor resident conditions and promptly communicate changes to providers, supervisors, and responsible parties
• Accurately document care, treatments, observations, and medication administration
• Supervise and support Nursing Assistants to ensure quality resident care
• Maintain up-to-date resident care information and communicate pertinent information during shift changes
• Follow infection control, safety, resident rights, and confidentiality standards
• Participate in interdisciplinary care planning and quality improvement initiatives
• Assist with admissions, transfers, and other nursing responsibilities as assigned

REQUIREMENTS:

• Valid Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) License required
• Current CPR Certification required
• Experience in a skilled nursing facility or with the geriatric population preferred
• Strong clinical, communication, and organizational skills
• Knowledge of medication administration, infection control, and resident care practices
• Ability to supervise nursing assistants and work effectively as part of an interdisciplinary team
• Compassionate, resident-centered approach to care
