NurseDash is expanding to Canton, Ohio and seeks experienced Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) to pick up flexible, part-time shifts at local facilities. Earn $34.00–$40.00/hour with same-day pay options and no minimum shift requirements.

Qualifikationen

• Active LPN license in Ohio.
• Current BLS certification.
• Physically able to lift 50 lbs and assist residents with mobility.
• Strong communication skills; ability to read, write, and speak English.
• Previous experience in assisted living, long-term care, or skilled nursing preferred.
• Experience with memory care residents is a plus.

Aufgaben

• Administer medications and treatments as ordered by the physician in accordance with Ohio nursing regulations.
• Monitor residents' health status, including taking and documenting vital signs.
• Perform skilled nursing procedures such as wound care, catheter care, tube feedings, injections, and blood glucose monitoring.
• Assess changes in resident condition and promptly report findings to the supervising RN or physician.
• Contribute to the development and implementation of resident care plans under RN supervision.
• Supervise and delegate tasks to STNAs/CNAs as appropriate.
• Provide direct patient care and assist with activities of daily living when needed.
• Ensure accurate, timely documentation in accordance with facility and state guidelines.
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, interdisciplinary teams, and physicians.
• Respond appropriately to emergencies and follow facility protocols.
• Maintain infection control standards and ensure safe medication administration practices.
• Uphold resident rights, dignity, confidentiality, and safety at all times.
• Participate in required in-service training and staff meetings.
• Perform other duties within LPN scope of practice as assigned.
