Job summary

The Cascades at Delray Senior Living in Florida is seeking a compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our growing team. Qualifications

• Current state license as a Licensed Practical Nurse.
• Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program.
• Knowledge of nursing principles and practices.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Attention to detail and multitasking ability.
• Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• Experience with EMRs is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications as prescribed by a physician or registered nurse.
• Monitor and record patient vital signs such as blood pressure and heart rate.
• Communicate with patients and families about care and treatment plan.
• Document patient visits and treatment plans in EMR.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals such as RNs, physicians and therapists.
• Complete patient assessments and coordinate care.
• Identify and report changes in residents' condition to a Registered Nurse.
• Follow infection control and safety protocols to ensure safety.
• Maintain confidentiality and ethical standards in patient interactions.
