Job summary

PAM Health Specialty and Rehabilitation Hospital of Covington in Covington, LA is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse/Licensed Vocational Nurse to join our inpatient team. You will provide nursing care under the direction of an RN, perform data gathering, carry out orders, and participate in therapeutic procedures with age-appropriate considerations.

The ideal candidate holds current LPN/LVN licensure in the state, maintains BLS certification, and has a preference for those with inpatient

Qualifications

• Holds current licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse / Licensed Vocational Nurse in the state where the hospital resides.
• Current BLS certification required.
• One year of inpatient medical-surgical nursing experience preferred but not required.
• Prior experience in emergency or critical care environments and familiarity with vents/trachs/PICC lines is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care as directed by an RN on the nursing unit.
• Gather and report data, carry out orders, and perform therapeutic procedures on patients.
• Deliver age-appropriate care in accordance with PAM Health policies.
