Job summary

Spring River Rehabilitation & Care Center in Roswell, New Mexico is seeking a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our clinical team. You will provide direct nursing care, administer medications and treatments, monitor resident conditions, and collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to promote safe, high-quality resident outcomes.

This role offers opportunities to supervise CNAs, support individualized care plans, and contribute to a compassionate, resident‑centered care

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program.
• Current NM LPN license in good standing.
• CPR or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Experience in skilled nursing or geriatric care preferred.
• Strong assessment, observation, and clinical decision-making skills.
• Ability to supervise and support nursing assistants.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care per care plans and orders.
• Monitor resident conditions and report significant changes promptly.
• Administer medications and treatments safely within scope.
• Obtain and monitor vital signs and clinical information.
• Collaborate with physicians, RNs, CNAs, and care team.
• Educate residents and families about medications and care needs.
• Supervise and support CNAs in delivering care.
• Ensure accurate nursing documentation in EMR.
• Respond to emergencies and changes in condition.
• Contribute to infection prevention and quality initiatives.
