Job summary

• Ability to perform nursing assessments and interventions.
• Competent in medication administration and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Performs LPN nursing functions under RN direction for residents.
• Completes assessments, plans and evaluates resident care using nursing process.
• Administers medications safely per physician orders and Pyxis system.
• Participates in care planning and updates plans as needed.
• Communicates delivery of care and guides staff in resident needs.
• Participates in rounds, documents changes and transcribes orders.
