Job summary

MediLodge Hillman is seeking a Part-Time/PRN Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN). The role involves coordinating and delivering nursing care to residents, supervising clinical staff, and ensuring physician orders are carried out accurately.

Qualifications

Graduate of accredited LPN/LVN school of nursing.
Valid LPN/LVN license in the state employed.
Valid CPR certification.
One year nursing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Documents the resident’s condition and nursing needs.
Implements physicians’ orders accurately and promptly.
Assigns nursing care to team members per resident needs and capabilities.
Supervises, directs, and evaluates junior staff and CNAs.
Administers medications and performs treatments with proper documentation.
Participates in orientation and in‑service training for personnel.
Ensures inventory/supplies and equipment are maintained safely.
Records pertinent observations and reactions regarding residents.
Coordinates nursing care during therapies or procedures.
Interviews applicants and participates in staffing decisions as allowed by state act.
Supervises nursing unit scheduling and staff direction.
Maintains inventory and communicates needs for housekeeping or dietary support.
Performs other tasks as assigned.
