Job summary

Ecumen North Branch is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide nursing care to residents, administer medications, document care, and coordinate services under the direction of the Director of Nursing.

This part-time role offers shifts 6:30am-3:00pm, 2:30pm-11:00pm, and 10:30pm-7:00am, with every other weekend and rotating holidays. You will lead Nursing Assistants and staff, ensure safety, and maintain infection control.

Qualifications

• Degree from an accredited school of nursing for the LPN program.
• Current LPN licensure in the state in which they are working.
• Ability to communicate effectively in written and verbal formats.
• Basic computer skills.
• Ability to follow all safety rules, regulations, policies and procedures including HIPAA, OSHA, and related standards.

Responsibilities

• Provides nursing care to residents/patients within the scope of practice of a Licensed Practical Nurse.
• Coordinates care and services with other departments/providers from admission to discharge.
• Assists RN with assessments, documentation, and data collection within scope of practice.
• Administers medications and completes treatments as ordered; observes and reports changes.
• Maintains safety of all residents/patients and team members; ensures infection control policy is followed.
• Maintains a clean, sanitary, safe and organized work area.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
