Job summary

Bon Secours Mercy Health is hiring a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for a Physician Practice at St. Francis Family Medicine and Residency Center. The LPN delivers patient care under physician supervision, prepares patients for visits, and observes and reports responses to care during appointments.

Qualifications

• LPN licensure or eligibility required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• 1 year of clinical patient care experience preferred.
• Ability to use computer-based scheduling/registration systems.
• Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

• Collaborates with physicians and other health care team members to meet patient/family needs.
• Implements the plan of care by providing direct basic nursing care within the LPN scope of practice.
• Appropriately labels and packages specimens as trained.
• Assists in providing indirect care through clerical/administrative duties as assigned by the RN.
• Acts as a chaperone for health care providers during patient examinations as requested.
• Assists providers with procedures, treatments, and interventions.
• Other duties as assigned.
