Job summary

vTech Solution is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide patient care in Skilled Nursing/Extended Care and SCU settings on a 12-hour night shift. You will assess, plan, implement, and coordinate care while collaborating with healthcare teams to ensure quality outcomes.

On-call rotations are required approximately 2 shifts every 6 weeks, with potential overtime. Shared furnished employee housing may be available (no pets, partners, or smoking) at certain locations including

Qualifications

• Current LPN license valid in the state of Colorado.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Experience in inpatient or extended care nursing preferred.
• Strong clinical assessment and patient care skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a healthcare team.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and coordinate patient care in Skilled Nursing/Extended Care and SCU units.
• Provide nursing care as directed by policies and procedures.
• Gather and report patient data accurately.
• Carry out physician and nursing orders.
• Perform therapeutic procedures appropriate to the patient's condition and age.

Required Skills & Certifications:

Preferred Skills & Certifications:

• Experience working in emergency, critical care, or skilled nursing environments.
• Comfort and familiarity with ventilators, tracheostomies, and PICC lines.
• Additional certifications or advanced training related to extended care nursing.

• Night shift position with 12-hour shifts.
• On-call responsibilities required approximately 2 shifts every 6 weeks.
