Good Samaritan – Bethany in Brainerd, MN is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for full-time evening shifts.

You will provide professional nursing care to residents in a long-term care setting, administer medications, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure quality outcomes. The role requires a Minnesota LPN license and a commitment to compassionate, Christian-based care.

Qualifikationen

• Graduate from an accredited practical nursing program as a Licensed Practical Nurse.
• Associate degree in practical nursing is preferred.
• If position requires IV therapy/management skills, the following is required in North Dakota: graduation from a Board approved AASPN program where IV therapy is part of the curriculum or completion of an IV Therapy course approved by the North Dakota Board of Nursing.
• Must have attended a pre-licensure nursing program that included supervised clinical experience across the life span as part of the curriculum or have had a minimum of 400 hours of experience as LPN at another facility.
• Currently holds an unencumbered Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license with State Nursing board and/or possess multi-state licensure privileges.
• Obtains and subsequently maintains required department specific competencies and certifications.
• Completes required annual continuing education units (CEU) and competency training requirements of the department and facility.

Aufgaben

• Provide professional nursing care for residents under supervision.
• Demonstrate knowledge of nursing principles and apply age- and population-specific standards.
• Administer medications or treatments as ordered.
• Document resident interactions and outcomes related to care, medication, behavior, activity and diet.
• Communicate clearly and maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
• Counsel residents and families on prevention and treatment plans.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
