Job summary

Scarlet Oaks Retirement and Rehabilitation Center is hiring a Full-Time Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for the 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM shift in our Assisted Living team. The role emphasizes resident-centered care, teamwork, and meaningful resident relationships.

The LPN will provide direct care, administer medications, supervise nursing assistants, and maintain accurate documentation while ensuring safety and compliance with regulations. Prior LTC/AL experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Active Ohio LPN license in good standing.
• Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program.
• Current CPR certification.
• Experience in Assisted Living or Long-Term Care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to Assisted Living residents per care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Supervise and support nursing assistants.
• Monitor resident conditions and report changes promptly.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
• Ensure proper narcotic control and documentation.
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, and interdisciplinary teams.
• Maintain a safe, respectful, and positive care environment.
• Ensure adequate supplies and equipment are available for resident care.
