Job summary

Scarlet Oaks Retirement and Rehabilitation Center is seeking a Full-Time Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for the 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM shift in our Assisted Living team. You will provide resident-centered care, administer medications, and supervise nursing assistants in a supportive, patient-focused environment.

The role emphasizes teamwork, strong communication, compliance with care plans, and maintaining a safe, respectful setting for residents and families.

Qualifications

• Active Ohio LPN license in good standing.
• Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program.
• Current CPR certification.
• Knowledge of nursing standards and Assisted Living regulations.
• Strong clinical judgment, leadership, and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Assisted Living or Long-Term Care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to Assisted Living residents in accordance with care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Supervise and support nursing assistants.
• Monitor resident conditions and report changes promptly.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
• Ensure proper narcotic control and documentation.
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, and interdisciplinary teams.
• Maintain a safe, respectful, and positive care environment.
• Ensure adequate supplies and equipment are available for resident care.
