Job summary

Lovelace Health System in Albuquerque, NM is seeking a night shift, full-time Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for our Emergency Room. You will provide direct, patient-centered nursing care under RN/physician supervision within hospital guidelines.

Required are a practical nursing program graduate, an NM RN license or multi-state compact, and BLS/CPR within specified timelines. One year of experience is preferred; Tax-exempt benefits and career growth may be available.

Qualifications

• Graduate from a practical nursing program.
• Valid NM RN License or valid multi-state compact license (within 90 days of hire).
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role.
• CPR.

Responsibilities

• The LPN under the supervision of a Registered Nurse or Physician, provides direct, safe, appropriate, and effective nursing care to designated patients in accordance with patient needs, current standards of nursing practice, and organizational policies within the scope of LPN Licensure and hospital policy.
• Performs general nursing tasks.
• Adheres to policies and procedures and regulations to ensure compliance and patient safety.
