Job summary

Mercy in Oklahoma City is seeking an LPN to provide patient care using the nursing process under supervision and to coordinate care with other departments. The role requires an accredited practical nursing program and an active LPN license in the hiring state.

New or experienced LPNs are welcome; BLS is required or completed within 30 days. Depending on unit, additional certifications such as ACLS, PALS, PEARS, STABLE may be required, and IV certification within 1 year is preferred.

Qualifications

• Education: Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program; Consideration will be given for comparable education experience and successful licensure.
• Licensure: Maintain a current LPN license in the hiring state and meet State Board of Nursing requirements.
• Experience: New or experienced LPN candidates welcome.
• Certifications: Basic Life Support through the American Heart Association or completed within 30 days of hire.
• Note: unit-specific certifications (ACLS, PALS, PEARS, STABLE, and others) may be required.
