Job summary

ARS Treatment Centers in Ephrata, PA, seeks a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our outpatient clinic. The LPN dispenses medications used in opioid treatment and helps ensure complete medical records under the direction of the Director of Nursing.

You will monitor medication inventory, participate in regular medical meetings, and adhere to state licensure standards, CARF, HIPAA, and company policies. We offer competitive wages, flexible scheduling, health benefits, 401k, and opportunities

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited nursing program with an active LPN license.
• Understanding of substance abuse treatment.
• Ability to make independent decisions when needed.
• Proficiency with computers and electronic records.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Successful completion of required background checks and training.

Responsibilities

• Sets up for dispensing of medication and dispenses medication.
• Monitors medication inventory and reports to charge nurses.
• Reconciles inventory of Methadone and Suboxone at conclusion of dosing
• Signs and processes physician orders. Enters notes and inputs flags as per physician orders
• Processes phase change requests
• Participates on Treatment team and regular Medical Meetings as per Licensure standards.
• Be proficient with State Licensure Standards, CARF Standards, 42 CFR and HIPAA standards and Company policies.
