Job summary

Acadia Healthcare's North Wilkesboro Comprehensive Treatment Center is seeking a dedicated LPN Dispensing Nurse for our Outpatient MAT Opioid Treatment Program. This full-time position supports safe, accurate dispensing of medication to patients under supervision of the Medical Director, with early morning hours and a rotating Saturday shift, enabling a solid work/life balance.

You will maintain precise MARs documentation, monitor patient responses, and uphold DEA, HIPAA, and Joint Commission

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
• Prefer 1 year of nursing experience in behavioral health or addiction recovery.
• Current LPN license in North Carolina or compact license.

Responsibilities

• Prepares and administers medication as ordered by the Medical Director or Program Physician.
• Maintains accurate accounting of all medication received and dispensed.
• Charts medication administration in nurse's notes and maintains progress records.
• Responsible for safekeeping of all medication stock and required records.
• Dedicate 90% of scheduled hours to medication administration; 10% to other duties.
• Handle urine collection and reading test results as ordered.
