Job summary

Temple Manor Nursing Home in Temple, OK is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for part-time, all shifts. You will provide direct nursing care under supervision of RN/Director of Nursing.

Responsibilities include administering medications, monitoring residents, updating care plans, and documenting care accurately.

Ideal candidate has an active LPN license in Oklahoma, CPR certification, and experience in long-term care; strong teamwork and compassionate approach required.

Qualifications

• Current LPN/LVN license in the state of employment (OK).
• Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program.
• Experience in long-term care or skilled nursing preferred.
• Current CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to residents in accordance with care plans and physician orders.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Monitor residents' vital signs, conditions, and responses to treatment.
• Report changes in resident condition to the Registered Nurse or physician.
• Assist with the development and implementation of individualized care plans.
• Supervise and support Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs).
• Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation.
• Ensure compliance with infection control and safety standards.
• Respond to resident needs and emergencies.
• Participate in shift reports and interdisciplinary team meetings.
• Provide compassionate care while maintaining resident dignity and privacy.
