Job summary

Ochsner Health is seeking an experienced Licensed Practical Nurse to provide direct care to assigned patients, including IV therapy. You will work under the direction of a registered nurse and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality, compassionate care.

Required are an LPN license in the state of practice and a current BLS certification. High school diploma or equivalent is mandatory; IV therapy credentials are preferred to support the care team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.

• BLS certification from the American Heart Association is required.
• IV therapy credentials are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Uses the nursing process in patient care, including data gathering, planning and evaluation.
