Responsibilities

• Administers oral and IV medications per the treatment plan under supervision.
• Assists in IV medication administration and maintenance therapy as ordered.
• Supervises Patient Care Tech for vital signs, baths, linen changes and diets.
• Monitors patient condition and reports to RN; escalation if deterioration occurs.
• Performs phlebotomy as ordered and conducts bedside glucose monitoring.
• Implements preventive care, wound treatments, and documents wound status.
• Educates patients and families on health conditions and follow-up care.
• Follows management direction to perform all other duties within scope.
