Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED equivalent.
• Active LPN license in Maine (new grads welcome).

Responsibilities

• Clinical care: administering medications, changing dressings/bandages, checking vitals, and assisting with basic medical procedures.
• Resident support: assisting with personal care and safely moving residents between beds, wheelchairs, and gurneys.
• Documentation & communication: maintaining EMR updates, evaluating resident well‑being, reporting changes to medical staff, and explaining treatments to families.

Your Role & Key Responsibilities

Working under the direct supervision of the Director of Nursing (DON), you will uphold medical routines, administer care, and serve as a vital link for residents and their families. Responsibilities include:

• Clinical Care: Administering medications, changing dressings/bandages, checking vitals, and assisting with basic medical procedures.
• Resident Support: Assisting with personal care (bathing, dressing, feeding) and safely moving residents between beds, wheelchairs, and gurneys.
• Documentation & Communication: Maintaining thorough EMR updates, evaluating resident well-being, reporting changes to medical staff, and explaining treatments to families.
