Job summary

The Columbus Organization in Nashville, TN is seeking a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team. This full-time position covers day shift responsibilities and requires delivering nursing care across diverse clinical situations, ensuring patient safety and adherence to physician orders.

The role emphasizes administering medications, monitoring patients, responding to emergencies with BLS/CPR as appropriate, and documenting care in accordance with standards.

Qualifications

• Active LPN license in TN or valid multistate license through the NLC.
• Graduate of an approved Practical Nursing program.
• Minimum of one year of LPN experience preferred.
• Current BLS/CPR certification.
• Valid driver’s license may be required.
• Strong clinical judgment and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care per physician orders and LPN scope of practice.
• Administer medications and monitor effectiveness/side effects.
• Respond to emergencies with BLS/CPR as needed.
• Document patient care and maintain compliance with standards.
• Monitor patient conditions and report changes to supervising RN or provider.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to support patient outcomes.
