Job summary

Saba Health Care in Joliet, IL is seeking a licensed practical nurse (LPN) to join our team in a long-term care setting. The role involves administering medications, performing nursing assessments, and collaborating with CNAs to deliver high-quality resident care.

Shift is day hours 0600–1800, with opportunities to contribute to care planning. The ideal candidate is active LPN with BLS certification, able to stand long hours and lift up to 50 lbs, and committed to compassionate patient-centered

Qualifications

• LPN licensed and active.
• BLS certification required.
• Able to stand for hours and lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Work day shift 0600 to 1800.
• Safely administer medications.
• Perform assessments on patients for charting and when notify MD/CNP.
• Work with CNAs to provide good quality care to all residents.
• Entering orders in PCC and carrying out MD/CNP orders.
• Able to perform standard nursing care as learned in nursing school.
