Job summary

Good Samaritan in Battle Lake, MN seeks a Full Time Days LPN to provide professional nursing care in a long-term care setting under supervision. You will contribute to care plans and ensure residents receive appropriate medications and monitoring.

Requirements include graduation from an accredited practical nursing program, an active LPN license, and ongoing CEU/compliance with department training. Sign-on bonus applies and benefits support work–life balance.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited practical nursing program as a Licensed Practical Nurse.
• Associate degree in practical nursing is preferred.
• Must have attended a pre-licensure nursing program that included supervised clinical experience across the life span.
• Minimum 400 hours of experience as an LPN at another facility.
• Currently holds an unencumbered LPN license with State Board or multi-state licensure.
• Maintains required department competencies and certifications.
• Completes annual CEU and competency training.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care for residents in long-term care under supervision.
• Administer medications or treatments as ordered.
• Document resident interactions and outcomes related to care.
• Support care plans and communicate with the interdisciplinary team.
• Maintain confidentiality and professional conduct.
