Job summary

Christian Living Communities (CLC) | Cappella Living Solutions (CLS) seeks a Licensed Practical Nurse to organize, direct and implement resident care in accordance with state/federal standards.

Responsibilities include administering meds, maintaining care plans, and supervising ancillary staff. Requires Colorado LPN license, English proficiency, and strong customer service. Full-time days with competitive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Colorado LPN license in good standing.
• 1 year experience in long-term care facility preferred.
• 1 year experience in overseeing and monitoring other staff preferred.
• IV Certification preferred.
• Computer word processing and database experience.
• Must read, write and speak English.
• Must possess excellent customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Attend appropriate Resident Care conferences; maintain Resident Care Plans ensuring accuracy and relevancy.
• Prepare, administer and document medications according to physician orders; order medications as needed and replace expired meds.
• Document patient care issues and report them to personnel as required.
• Recognize signs and symptoms and use proper judgment in selecting appropriate treatment or procedures.
• Supervise and direct ancillary personnel.
• Other duties as assigned.
