Job summary

Southern Health Partners, a leader in correctional healthcare, is seeking an LPN for Craven County Jail in North Carolina. This full-time, day-shift position offers a 35-hour week with a rotating schedule and a sign-on/retention bonus.

You will provide nursing care, administer medications, document patient conditions, collaborate with providers, and maintain accurate records in a secure environment, helping ensure timely, quality care for inmates.

Qualifications

• Must hold current LPN license in North Carolina.
• 1+ year of nursing experience preferred.
• Ability to work in a correctional healthcare setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care and treatment to patients within the facility.
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered.
• Perform assessments and respond to patient healthcare needs.
• Monitor and document patient conditions and care.
• Collaborate with providers and the healthcare team.
• Maintain accurate and timely medical records.
• Respond appropriately to urgent and emergent medical needs.
• Promote a safe, secure, and therapeutic environment.
