Job summary

The Good Samaritan Mary Jane Brown facility in Luverne, MN is hiring a Full-Time Days LPN to join our not-for-profit care team. You will provide nursing care to residents in long-term care, under supervision, with 12-hour day shifts and 36 hours per week, at $28.75+ per hour and a $15,000 sign-on bonus.

You will perform assessments, administer medications, contribute to care plans, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to support resident wellbeing.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited practical nursing program as a Licensed Practical Nurse.
• Associate degree in practical nursing is preferred.
• IV therapy/management skills or ND requirements.
• Must have attended a pre-licensure nursing program with supervised clinical experience across the life span or 400 hours of LPN experience.
• Currently holds an unencumbered LPN license and maintains required competencies and certifications.
• Completes required annual CEU and competency training.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care for residents in long-term care under supervision.
• Demonstrate nursing principles and apply population-specific standards.
• Assess residents and administer medications or treatments as ordered.
• Support healthcare professionals and document resident interactions and outcomes.
• Maintain confidentiality and communicate clearly with residents and staff.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary care team to support resident wellbeing.
