Job summary

Good Samaritan is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for full-time day shifts at the Mary Jane Brown skilled nursing facility in Luverne, MN. The role offers 36 hours per week across 12-hour shifts with shift differentials in evenings and weekends.

Compensation includes a salary range of $28.75 per hour or more, plus a $15,000 sign-on bonus and a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, and vision coverage.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited practical nursing program as a Licensed Practical Nurse.
• Associate degree in practical nursing is preferred.
• Currently holds an unencumbered Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license with State Nursing board and/or possess multi-state licensure.
• Must have attended a pre-licensure nursing program that included supervised clinical experience across the life span or have had a minimum of 400 hours of experience as LPN at another facility.
• If position requires IV therapy/management skills, North Dakota requirements may apply.

Responsibilities

• Provides professional nursing care for residents under supervision.
• Demonstrates nursing principles and follows care plans.
• Administers medications or treatments as ordered.
• Documents resident interactions and outcomes.
• Communicates clearly and maintains confidentiality.
• Works with interdisciplinary care team to support residents.
