Aurora Denver Cardiology -SMC, part of HCA Healthcare, is hiring a Licensed Practical Nurse/Licensed Vocational Nurse (LPN/LVN) for a full-time day schedule. You will provide clinical care, assist physicians, and support patient flow in a high-quality outpatient setting.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited school of practical nursing is required.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a hospital or clinic setting preferred.
• Must be licensed as a LPN/LVN in accordance with state regulations.

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians with nurse procedures to ensure patient comfort and safety.
• Interview patients, take medical history, give injections, and collect samples as directed.
• Administer prescribed meds and simple treatments per physician orders.
• Prepare patients for exams, document health history, and record vital signs.
• Triaging calls and scheduling tests, coordinating referrals and pre-authorizations.
• Maintain accurate patient charts and ensure proper chart forwarding.
• Manage supplies, inventory, and maintain clinical equipment.
