Job summary

Bert Nash Community Mental Health Center is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse for day shifts in the Treatment & Recovery Center. The part-time, 36-hour per week position offers benefits and an hourly pay range of $28.00–$36.00.

Responsibilities include direct nursing care, care coordination, and discharge planning within a collaborative inter-professional team. Kansas LPN licensure and BLS are required; ACLS/PALS may waive BLS in certain roles.

Qualifications

• The LPN must hold a Kansas license and complete an approved LPN program.
• Current BLS is required; ACLS/PALS may waive the BLS depending on the department.
• Knowledge of psychopharmacological interactions is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care per policies and procedures.
• Coordinate care with the clinical team and document patient conditions.
• Assist with discharge planning and care transitions.
• Participate in on-site or community-based Crisis Division services.
